Thought I’d take a retrospective look at how the Roses music press adverts changed over the years.

Three examples for your viewing pleasure: From Sally Cinnamon, through classic Silvertone and onto second album promotions from Geffen.

I just love the early press adds for the Silvertone singles. They really captured the Roses vibe and instantly set them apart from their contemporaries.

Here’s a half page one for Elephant Stone. Wish I could fit those full page ones I’ve got onto the scanner!
