Shane Meadows making Stone Roses reunion documentary?

There’s been much speculation regarding Shane Meadows making a film of the Roses comeback, and now a post on shanemeadows.co.uk sheds some light on the story.

Apparently Shane is in discussions to document the Roses return and was actually filming the Stone Roses press conference last week.

“Unconfirmed” tour dates exposed as fake by NME

After initially publishing the rumoured Roses tour dates as seen on this site and elsewhere, the NME has re-written their article exposing the dates as incorrect.

Let’s hope the dates are indeed wrong as some of the venues were very unpopular choices with the fans.

Roses sell 220,000 tickets

The Stone Roses tickets for Heaton Park shows sold out in 68 minutes.

The first two gigs sold out within 14 minutes of going on sale today with all 150,000 tickets being snapped up. The band then added a third date on which sold out less than an hour later.

Despite the crazy numbers there’s still many disappointed fans out there.
